Welcome to Nature’s Route Farm! We, Kent and Ruth Coates, grow a wide variety of great tasting vegetables and lamb on our beautiful farm overlooking the New Brunswick / Nova Scotia border. Our vegetables and lamb are grown ethically, sustainably, and responsibly. For more information on our practices check out ‘Farm practices’ under “Our Farm”.
Since 2007, we have sold most of our vegetables as CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) weekly vegetable boxes. Our CSA members purchase a ‘share’ of the harvest bounty and choose between 6 and 10 different vegetables from a market style pick up throughout the season.
Sign up for a package starting in June, September or October. We also offer a 6 week trial share starting on any date between July and December. If you are interested but these dates don’t meet your needs, let us know and we will customize a package for you!

Fair for you, fair for us. We offer healthy, fresh and great tasting vegetables at a competitive price while encouraging our community to engage with our farm through visits, newsletters, facebook, recipes and more.
We know that the CSA model does not fit everyone’s lifestyle. You can also find us at the Sackville Farmers’ Market on Saturday mornings.
