  1. Wow – had no idea how potatoes and broccoli were planted in a commercial business. Loved watching the videos and seeing you all and hearing the voices. Tell Genie to lift her fchin next time the video is rolling to catch her face too!!!!

    Bet the produce tastes great – pity the big pond separates us from testing it for ourselves.

    • Hi Joy! The potato planter is Kent’s design – it saves between 3 and 4 days from our previous method (by hand!). The Hatfield planter (the red tube we throw the transplants down) is pretty low tech but a bit improvement over crawling up and down the field! We are getting ready for a busy next week as we try to plant all the seeds that should have been planted in the last few weeks. It has beem wet for a solid month…..
      We are going to try to continue posting short videos so stay tuned! Ruth
